Recovery and Rehabilitation

The kind nurses and Doctors at Share and Repair looked after the Bear, sewing up his wounds, giving him bed baths and feeding him up. The day came when Bear wanted to repay the kindness that had been shown to him. He worked tirelessly cleaning the workshop and even helped repair an item or two for the kind people in Stonehouse.

Eventually it was time for Bear to leave. Share and repair rang SpICE to come and collect Bear. The nice people at SpICE had agreed to look after him until they had created a nice warm Community hub that he could live in. Poor Bear could not remember his name or where he came from, so it was agreed that they would ask the kind people of Stonehouse to give him a name at the Stonehouse Canal Festival on 1st September at St Cyrs, where there will be activities and fun for all. “See you all there” said Bear “I would love to have a nice name instead of just being ‘Bear'” It was the first time we had heard him speak!
