Great News
The New Gate has been fitted (except for a few little bits) and the weather is now getting warmer ready for seeding. Stonehouse Milk are going to save us a lot of back breaking work by harrowing the lower part of the site and using their seeder to distribute 80kg of grass seed. This will be done by Friday 21st March. The harrowing will bring the stones up to the surface and we need to clear as many as possible.
What do we need?
We need as many hands as possible and as many wheelbarrows as possible so that we can create a line of people across the site to pick the stones and put into the barrows who will then take the cargo and create a pile at the North Eastern corner of the site. We should be able to use the stones in future construction or maybe a hibernaculum when the reptiles are allowed back onto the site.
